Weather warmed up really early this year. This Suzuki Intruder C800 really looks good after removing the front fairing. Considerably less buffeting too, with the screen anything over 80 km/h was really shaky.

    Curiously enough I had the opposite result with the windshield on my Shadow. Fitting it make the bike significantly more stable at speed, albeit at the expense of making the top vents in my helmet whistle. Oh well.

      This bike has went through a few prior owners, all have apparently been happy with the windshield. Might be that I’m just the right height to have my head where the air is rising from beneath the windshield.

      I was actually looking if I could adjust the screen, then noticed the lower mounting brackets had cracked welds. Been looking for replacements, but it’s not easy since there’s not many of these bikes where I live. They’re some alloy metal so fixing the welds is out of my league.
