Chapter 16:
So I ran away from home, as the IRS agents busted in the door… my parents got shot dead on the scene…
Now I’m officially an orphan… sadly ever after…
Alternate Chapter 16:
My family is now on the run… I’ve been too entangled into their bussiness… I’m also on the United States government’s hit list…
We grabbed as much gold as possible hidden underneath parents bed¹, just in case of emergency.
“Oh shit, where do we even go?”, my dad asked.
“I TOLD YOU TO JUST PAY THE TAX, NOW OUR CHILD IS IN TROUBLE BECAUSE OF YOU”, mom replied.
“Iran”, I said, while my parents stared at me, bewildered at my comment, “they don’t have an extradition treaty with the US”
“But…” dad mumbled in a said voice.
“Yes I know”, mom said, defeated, “it’s not a good place for women, but I have to do it, for the safety of my son”
“We shouldn’t have been dealing bussiness with the Iranians²”, dad said, “now we have no choice but to seek asylum there”
…
And so this is the story of how my family ended up in Iran… and this is why the US is now trying to bomb Iran… all in effort to get us to pay the taxes…
(¹For storytelling purposes. There is no actual gold there, don’t actually come to my house lmfao

I mean, the minister of foreign affairs of USSR in year 1939. The guy who agreed together with Germany’s foreign minister, Ribbentrop, on how the coming war should be handled and which of the two countries should get what territories. Definitely helped many with tax evasion in the process!
