I voted for Trump in 2016 . . . because I was lied to and I fell for it

Rounding up random brown people, including American citizens and sending them overseas to prison camps?

    That’s fine.

    Raping children for decades?

    Perfectly cool.

    Cringey blasphemy?

    HE CROSSED THE LINE

It’s not even the first blasphemy… There’s been so much talk and memes from evangelicals basically making him out to be a messiah and he’s totally embraced it over and over again.

Frankly, this is making me furious. Even a friend of mine who has hated Trump all along is telling me that this “crosses a new line” for him. I’m having a hard time not snapping at him about this. I will bury the reaction and continue smiling for now because opposing Trump is more important for now.

And there are millions and millions of people who are allowing their children to be raped and don’t do anything about it?

Are the darkies getting raped also?

      For shame!

it wasn’t the pedophilia, the raping, the fraud, the tens of thousands of lies, the pornstar hush money, “grab’em by the pussy,” “suckers and losers,” the support for genocide and pointless bullshit iran war–no, it was the ai jesus pic that pushed them over the edge…

Which isn’t even really new information. He’s compared himself to Jesus multiple times and blasphemed publicly a few times that I’m aware of.

Well, something about them does make sense. They are all a bunch of scared babies who want a mean daddy to fix all their problems (which are apparently 100% just brown people).

This isn’t the first one made of him. So it took a few to push people over.

A reminder that it isn’t Trump, but the ones who support him that are the problem, and there are so many of them. And even they are also just a symptom of a deeper illness. A self-perpetuating one.

There are lots of problems, but some are more dependent on the others, so pick your battles. There are also predicaments. Whether or not the biggest problems are really that is debatable. But have to start somewhere.

They want something to be nominally angry about because we all made fun of them for only caring about gas prices. This is cover. I won’t assume intentionality where irrationality has always reigned, but the holier-than-thou crowd prefers a spiritual boogeyman to admitting they are just selfish little children.

I think that they were willing to go along with just about anything, so long as it seemed like he was a path to power. But, from their perspective, he’s committed the ultimate faux pa, he made gas prices go up. So his political agenda is dead in the water with no chance of recovery. This stuff is just the excuse to back away without loosing face.

Do we know if the anti-Christ is aware they are the anti-Christ? Because it seems like trump just accidentally stumbled into embodying that concept so perfectly just by being his normal piece of shit self.

No, the idea of the antichrist knowing is a supposition of them being a servant of the beast. A cultural assumption of Satan’s “human servants” having first hand communication like one does with a human boss.

      https://www.benjaminlcorey.com/could-american-evangelicals-spot-the-antichrist-heres-the-biblical-predictions/

Inasmuch as I could play with the idea of believing in revelations, I would believe that it’s less about a “chosen one” antichrist, and moreso an “antichrist candidate” that when someone can fulfill the roll and obtain power; then it’s a sign of times incoming. Also, (lego) Brick Bible Revelations is a fascinating interpretation.

      Truuump gud aht 'conomy.

That’s what so many of these dumbfucks said.

Really, he rode the coattails of the black President’s economy and then completely bobbled things during Covid. If they think that’s doing great on the economy, I just don’t know what to say because he completely screwed the pooch on doing the very basics of handling a pandemic.

And the types of assholes that adore him wrote things like The Unhumans and act like they were somehow repressed in 2020 because of Covid.

As in, they think they were especially singled out for whatever fucking reason, as conservatives, by Communists (which they see everywhere) and were punished in some way.

Instead of everyone wresting with how to deal with a goddamn pandemic, FFS. But these people who dumber than a bag of hammers will vote for him again because voting for Democrats is just gay or whatever.
