Remember when Trump threatened to wipe out a whole civilization? And then backed out of that and talked about forming a deal with Iran? And then dropped that and went to a UFC fight as negotiations fell apart? And then unveiled a triumphal arch and a photo of himself as Jesus?

That was this week.

Bluesky.

I’m getting the feeling they just put a dancing clown in front of us so we don’t start talking about real problems and demanding solutions for them. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the entire Trump presidency is one big distraction. We could be talking about and working towards solutions to societies problems, but now the news cycle is a 24/7 clown show.

      He’s not the first one.

Reagan was certainly far more qualified and intelligent than trump, but he was the same thing.

An old, white, face-guy who everyone could focus their attention on while the Heritage Foundation did its dirty work in the shadows.

There’s a reason everything seems to have started stagnating in the 80’s, because it did.

That’s kinda why the rich let us have elections in the first place.

It’s probably a mix of distraction and real problem.

Or they just throw everything at the wall and hope enough of it sticks.

And the opposition should do the same (but in the opposite direction, of course).

If you talk about the problems people actually have, and you suggest solutions without getting distracted by dancing clowns, you win elections. In the US, Zohran Mamdani demonstrated it, and in Hungary, Peter Magyar. The problem is, many politicians are easily distracted. They think they could score points by pointing out problems in the clowns choreography, when they should be talking about their agenda instead.

I mention the Epstein class all the time, and I straight up said I would kill Trump on the spot if I spotted him, to my co-workers. I do NOT hide it at all.

Remember when Randy Marsh took that giant shit? That’s how I imagine America is going to feel after the big flush.

It has been an “imminent threat” for the past 40 years. Not sure they understand the meaning of the word “imminent.”

Supposedly he thought it would increase his dismal polling numbers, as military action tended to do so for previous presidents.

Also, to distract from the Epstein files and several other things people are actively upset about.

I’ve heard the phrase “largest state sponsor of terrorism” thrown around, but honestly I feel like it wasn’t even mentioned until well after everything had started and it wasn’t an immediate success like they must’ve thought it would be. No idea if it’s true at all. And there’s always “we gotta stop them from getting nukes”.

Basically it’s whatever they can think of in the moment in the rare instance they get questioned about it. They’ve also said all goals have been met since like, at least a week ago, so now I guess it’s just for the love of the game.

He said it’s because they have nukes, then said jt was a pre-emptive strike because he felt they would attack soon, then said it was to bring armageddon as God’s will? There was also a point republicans were saying Israel forced our hand into it. I remember there being 1 more reason but forgor.

Did you see the video of Trump talking to the UFC guy? Trump shook his hand and then wouldn’t let go. And then Trump touched the guy’s bare leg. It was crazy.
