I don’t get why news outlets take Trump’s announcements and make them headlines as if were the sole truth of the state of affairs when it’s been repeatedly proven to be complete bullshit. It’s an attempt to assert control over Iran by unilaterally extending the ceasefire.
Frankly, this is one of the reasons why the IRGC did not want this ceasefire in the first place, as it removed a large part of their leverage and gave up the initiative.
Trump isn’t wrong about the Iranian government being fractured.
Will be interesting to see if the Iranians use Israel’s ceasefire violations or the blockade as justification for resuming missle and drone attacks.
