Republicans literally framed it as they were repealing “racial gerrymandering” Literally the act was made to prevent southern states from gerrymandering minority voters into fewer votes. And that is exactly what happened after it got repealed.

I really hate how Republicans are portrayed by the Elephant. I wish we could saddle them with another mascot. I know that the Elephant is their official symbol, but I don’t care. Elephants are intelligent, sensitive, kind, and even helpful creatures who would never be Republicans. 😕

We don’t need to respect their symbol. Let’s just start doing art with a different one.

But I can’t think of an animal I would hate enough to give them. Snakes might be appropriate, given their levels of honesty.

Honestly it would make sense to flip the party mascots, because Republicans would be better represented by an ass.

    This is a modern comic.

I hate that this is a modern comic.

HOW are we still on racism? How is this what we’re doing in 2026???

It would be just as stupid as if we hated someone for the color of your car. Actually, racism is dumber, because you can’t pick your skin color, but if you’re ever driving an orange car, that was a terrible choice you made. Obviously red cars are the best. You should buy a red car.

    Red car…

    Buy a red car…

I wish more people drove orange cars. The rainbow game on long car trips is too hard since everyone started buying white and black.

It’s not so much that Republican politicians are racist; they hate all Americans. But to stay in power, they benefit from fracturing movements, making people feel that voting rights, housing issues, wage equality, are things that “only black people” care about, because they “just don’t work as hard”.

Racism is the weapon of oligarchs.

This is their last chance to hold on to their racist ways as America’s population is going through it’s transition from a white majority to a white minority society.

While it remains to be seen how this plays out, if it swings the other way, they better pray to their supply side Jesus minorities are going to not inflict unto them what they did to us.

When you say “they” who exactly are you referring to? Republicans? Politicians?

The same people that are proud of their European to heritage fantasy and being the most annoying cosplaying fucks about it here in the real Europe.

Even when I was a kid I was confused about politicians. Everybody jokes that they lie through their teeth about everything, but people keep talking about what they say as if it means something. It didn’t make sense then, and it makes even less sense now. Anything a politician says should be treated like random noise - any truth in it is there by coincidence only, and should not be used to assume any other part is truthful. Their actions are the only real way to determine where their priorities and motivations lie.
