Surviving? That was 1941; it’s unlikely anyone is still alive, and that notwithstanding, you don’t inter survivors, you get them to hospital.
Words have meanings.
While I am no fan of this guy, it seems that they allow interment of the remains of any survivors of the attack after they have passed of other causes. The most recent interment seems to have been done in 2021, while the individual had passed away in 2002.
Interment and internment are not the same word.
