Here, The Matrix now takes place in either Mexico or a late 2000’s / early 2010’s shooter game:

… or the original release version of Deus Ex Human Revolution.

The funny thing is that they obviously didn’t have blue tint on the day, so this picture is probably exactly what it looked like while they were doing it.
No music, no sound effects, no graphics. Behind the scenes footage is so awkward it’s amazing any movie gets made, and I love it.
I have a problem when watching a show or movie, and I’m a little bit stoned, that I start thinking about how it was filmed, the camera angles, and the actors in the scene. It really takes me out of the moment
I watch a lot of Corridor Crew videos with my kids and now they just call out bad CGI all the time and they complain everytime they see AI slop out in the city. I’m glad they have critical eyes now, but I feel like I ruined the joy of simply enjoying movies for them.
Pretty sure the movie studios did that.
I’m like that when I’m not stoned, which is probably why as a 50 year old man I mostly watch romcoms and animation. With romcoms the set and lighting is straight forward so it doesn’t distract me, unless they are outside in the “tropics” then all the wrong plants and animals bother me.
This is basically what I do all the time.
I mean… That’s kinda what movies are…
Imagine hiring theatre kids to act. Obviously they should be recruiting from business majors and STEM departments.
I saw a comment once that hollywood actors are all just the same “weird theater kids” from High School.
… and ‘politics is Hollywood for ugly people’.
I feel like Trump is the actual best possible example of that, along with the considerable set of shitass right wing commentators who are failed creatives/entertainers of some kind.
Add in rich parents and basically.
“I’m going to make it in hollywood, i was so good in my high-school production of “Oklahoma” there’s no way I’m not going to make it.”
LoL, I mean its one of those one way connections. Like all Hollywood actors are weird theater kids but not all weird theater kids are Hollywood actors.
And its not all, but its probably more “most”. But for the most part, some random, jock football player isn’t turning into the next big time Hollywood actor, its the kid who did an overzealous Oklahoma production.
Actually probably not that kid either, they probably went on to broadway. Hollywood will be the one who did “a good job” as the reocuring background character.
Yeah, all movies look weird and awkward behind the scenes. People don’t realize how important framing is and how much is tweaked in post production.
Twilight was the most “theater kids being theater kids” movie ever. The entire movie was people over acting as if that’s what makes you a vampire. I kept waiting for Jon Lovitz to walk by yelling “ACTING!!!”
There’s a parody called taintlight and they parody the overacting by overacting EVEN HARDER and it’s the funniest fucking thing. The production value is exactly in the realm of “high school project” but that somehow makes it better.
How much heavylifting does that tint need to be doing-
Twilight making me uncomfortable with or without tint!
Anyone have the original for comparison?
Closest I could find:

That’s an actual screenshot of the movie? It looks like a shitty phone filter…
Tbh it looks the same to me lmao
Probably because it was a shit movie in the first place.
I know what’ll settle this conflict involving ancient vampires and rando teens, let’s all baseball each other!
still made more sense than quidditch though
Robby looks like he’s holding in a massive shit, or just failed to.
You know there was someone in the room saying…“ok that’s fine, but what if we made it even bluer greener?” And so we ended up with that.
I mean, yes, it’s even more ridiculous. But that entire baseball scene was cringe as hell even in the theatre.
Super massive black hole
I’ve never seen this, but was one side playing baseball or some complex “umpire” joke.
Yeah, they were playing vampire baseball in a thunderstorm.
I’ve learned more and am more confused. But please don’t explain further.
The movie is worth watching just so you can laugh at how bad it is.
Robert Pattinson actually turned out to be a fantastic actor.
I struggle with his Batman portrayal cuz he isn’t Michael Keaton, but he was AMAZING in the king
he was great in Good Time, I prefer it to uncut gems by a pretty wide margin

Yeah the one side was playing baseball and the other side decided to break dance in center field. Turned into a massive musical dance off number. Juila Stiles was the judge.
