“86 47” became a contentious phrase after former FBI Director James Comey was indicted

    It’s not ‘contentious’, it’s just anti-Trump.

Reminder that “8646” was NOT contentious when MAGA was selling merchandise with that on it while Biden was POTUS.

Solid reporting in that final paragraph.

National Park Service workers were seen roping off the area Thursday afternoon, and National Guard members appeared to be directing the public away from the grass. National Park Service workers were seen later roping off the area.

What about even later? Were they seen going home for the day?

Do the workers need to be rebooted? Or like, is the rope they’re using not long enough? Are they just walking laps with a too-short rope, endlessly attempting to enclose a volume they will never have a long enough rope to enclose? Just chasing the end as it moves away from them with each step?
Does their struggle represent the American dream? Is there a smug geometry teacher somewhere yelling “this is why you need to know the formula for perimeters!” at their news source?

I thought roundup doesn’t work on grasses? But I agree that the pixelated look suggests they couldn’t directly see the process and had to map it out beforehand and follow through row by row or something.
