Was wondering because, this time around, the football community seems to be diametrically opposite to the Lemmy/Piefed community. I was watching me some football when the booing happened, and the first thing I could think of was “looks like we aren’t in Lemmy Kansas anymore”. Do people here just not have a strong foothold in the football community? Or are we a minority?

I get bored watching other people play sports. So I usually don’t. I’ll watch a bit of the Olympic Winter Games every now and then, but that’s about it. (And I’ve watched some snooker and chess. But I think that’s an entirely different experience compared to football.)
I’m not into any variety of football. I enjoy seeing an odd highlight or good play, but not the whole match. I played for 3 years in school (and american football for one), but I don’t really enjoy eatching it. Ice Hockey is probably the thing I most enjoy and even that is mostly only if I go in person.
I’m into both football and American football. I’m a Chelsea fan and Seahawks for American football.
