I guess nobody watched the Willow tv series but me.

Oooo, I liked that series. Too bad it was cancelled
I liked the idea of the series and I loved a lot of the visuals. But I didn’t like that Willow became such a reluctant figure. Felt kinda like what they did to Luke Skywalker. He didn’t want to help out and seemed to just not want to be there. I loved Warwick Davis though.
This is so inaccurate. Those swords are clearly Asian and those women clearly aren’t. They don’t work in tech either. Lesbians are much better about cultural appropriation and sensible edged weapons in my experience.
No comment on the class character here. Who can still afford Denny’s?
Is it appropriation when Japan generally loves exporting weebdom? Now, they may be sick of weebs visiting, but selling to them is definitely still what they want to do.
Arguable, but the point about sensible choice of tools and sharkweek’s comment about nonsense blade length still stand.
I’m not sure about the choice of blade length, either
Really disappointing portrayal of queer dueling culture. At least they tried.
Indeed, although unless it’s taking place at Battledykes it’s just sparkling lesbian swordplay
Miss me with that elitist bullshit. Rural queers can have ritual combat too, and its just as valid.
That’s fighting talk - Battledykes is rural
Choose your weapon, I demand satisfaction!
(preferably in the style of duels in the Ressaline series of books)
Not familiar with those books, epee.
They’re … weird. Lesbians duel with magical dildos to posses one another as sex slaves.
Unfortunately not as sexy as it sounds - by the sixth book it talks about trade negotiations over transport regulation more than sex :-(
Epee sounds good, useful for spanking afterwards …
