    LOL

Requiring a passport to vote would 100% hamstring Republicans more than Democrats. This will work about as well as their gerrymandering attempts did, which is to say, it will backfire spectacularly if they actually do it. (Something Senate Republicans probably have figured out.)

Wait, are you implying that poor people will from red states don’t do a whole lot of international travel because I would never have guessed that.

I genuinely find it funny that every civic minded, educated person has a take like this while you’re living in this reality.

They couldn’t care less how many people vote as long as they come out on top. If they had it their way only billionaires would have the privilege of voting.

You’re forgetting that he decides who can have the passport.

This night be one reason why he is so desperate to get voting rolls from every state.

Isn’t it wild how they openly talk about disenfranchising their own constituents and nobody really gives a shit? Maybe we do deserve to go deeper. A completely brainwashed and apathetic country, pathetic and disgraceful.

The only active action against Trump is coming from McDonald’s.

GO big Mac GO, give his heart a smack, after his snack.

Come on cholesterol, Make him reel, after his meal.

        Eh, not entirely accurate.

There have been a half-dozen attempts on his life (that we know of), several major cities engaged in silent sabotoge (LA, Chicago, Portland, Minneapolis), and there’s also Iran.

This year has been wild. It’s going to get worse after the midterms when the populist parts of the BBB start to expire and the post-tariff trade deals start to kick in.

I find this whole thing pretty fucking hilarious, because it’s great to see fascists stab each other in the back.

Trump isn’t totally wrong here: the filibuster should be converted into a talking filibuster. Obviously, he wants that for reasons opposite to my own, but we’re still in agreement on this narrow point.

What makes it extra funny is that the filibuster is already on a deathwatch. The writing is on the wall that voters in both parties are sick of this pro wrestling performative senate theater where they pretend not to be able to pass laws. It’s very possibly going to be retired by Democrats in 2028. So trying to preserve it is hilariously foolish for a Republican.

I hope that it’s retired by Democrats, and I’m grateful that Thune is betraying Trump in this fashion.
