“On Wednesday, IDF troops identified three aid truck drivers who had stopped along the Philadelphi corridor and exited their trucks contrary to established procedures,” a military spokesperson said. IDF troops operating in the area detained the drivers for questioning. Simultaneously, the driver of another truck that had stopped at a nearby roadblock ran toward the troops, they said. The troops initiated the suspect apprehension protocol and, after perceiving an immediate threat, opened fire toward the driver.
What the other drivers say.
“They made us stand by the side of the road. They ordered me to take off my clothes and forced me to sit under the sun. Then they brought Ahmad out of his truck. One of the soldiers began talking to Ahmad while he stood with his hands raised. Ahmad did not speak Hebrew, and it seemed the soldiers did not understand his Arabic. Suddenly, they shot him. He was hit in the head and died at the scene. It appeared they were trying to find out why we had stopped, but they did not understand the situation and opened fire immediately, without any discussion or attempt to communicate.”
It’s shocking that they are essentially identical accounts. Israel doesn’t even feel the need to lie. They killed some one who was not a threat, but was “perceived” as a threat so executed on the spot. They’ll kill anyone for any reason and not even say oops. Cooperation while holding your hands up is still grounds for execution.

Why have all the new news bots not been coded to provide synopses of the articles they post? It’s a rare occurrence for any news post to have at least a descriptive paragraph or two from the article anymore.
It genuinely helps, especially mobile ap users, when the article is paywalled or from a site that covers all its articles in ads.
