Why are Israel issues more relevant than domestic issues affecting millions of Americans?

Who cares, he votes for the Republican talking points most of the time anyway. Grow a spine already and make it official.

What he wants is the party to cross the made up line he has drawn in the sand so he can switch affiliation “guilt free” and be able to say “ look they made me do it” when pressed about it.

Senator John Fetterman of the State of Israel demands recognition.

The fact senior US statesmen continue to offer loyalty to a different sovereign state makes you a laughingstock.

So his threat is basically that he’ll likely ruin his chances of holding office ever again if the party doesn’t do what he wants? What a weird flex.

He’s currently polling at ~19% approval among Pennsylvania democrats, but ~80% with republicans. So if he sticks with democrat party, he has basically no chance of getting reelected. But republicans tend to do a little better in Pennsylvania (or at least, they used to, but Donny’s current term may have changed that,) so he could have a shot at winning reelection if he switches to Republican. Especially since Republicans love “I used to be a Democrat then I got some common sense” types of stories. He could ham it up for republican voters, and would likely do pretty well if he could convince them he has truly switched sides.

He’s functionally a Republican anyway. Why spend Dem party campaign mpney on him?
