    Why would you use NY Post OP? It’s one of the most biased rags out there

    Kind of surprising he pled out, considering he had decent odds for jury nullification. Wonder what kind of deal he was offered

      If you’re judging this solely by public sentiment on the Internet, particularly on Lemmy, perhaps. I would imagine the prosecution for this particular case put extra focus on avoiding the selection of jurors who might push for nullification.
