Those that want swearing and hookers can gather on an instance allowing them. Those that do not can avoid communities that do. Its a win for everyone.
Fair enough, I guess it employs more mods which is a societal benefit keeping them busy and away from the public. It’s not hard to just subscribe to more instances either.
Plus the fediverse is safer with more smaller instances than just a few larger instances. Can’t be shutdown so easily.
