I have got plenty of wins with mage and warrior as they play pretty similar from my experience and now I’m trying to get a win with rogue but I can’t work out when to use my scrolls of upgrade and on what (weapon or armour or something else?) and what the general play style is like. I feel like the “blueprint” for successful runs with this class is different but can’t work out why. I can consistently have winning runs with warrior and mage but can barely get to floor 10 with rogue.

    Rogue gets early strength from cloak, abuse it as much as you can to get out of bad situations/setup fights.

    Use all your resources to get to Tengu then go assassin and dump SoU into your best weapon and augment for damage.

        That’s my playstyle but you can put some into armor, as a +10 or +15 weapon is basically the same lol.

        If you get a good ring I would put SoU into the ring instead of armor.

            Top: Arcana, Haste, Wealth

            Ok: Evasion, Energy

            Avoid: Accuracy, Furor, Tenacity, Elements, Might, Sharpshooting

            Mostly because you want to oneshot as rouge, and you won’t take any damage as a result.

            Also you always surprise attack so accuracy is worthless.

              If you had a run where you got the had the arcana and wealth rings on floor 1, where would you put your upgrade scrolls? Into the ring of wealth?

                RoWealth is all rings in one, you can farm for as long as you want for drops.

                For example the max RoW without luck is:

                Natural +0 + Troll upgrade + 2x Reforge + 15 SoU = 18

                A +17 RoW with a second +1 RoW equipped will give you +10 equipment.

                Then when you get all you need you transmute the RoW into a RoArcana +17.

                So basically a RoW is a RoArcana but with more gear. However it is very grindy even with the ghost ally.

    I find rogue the best class to play casually and hardcore because of the cloak. Gear for my 1,2mil score rogue run. Shattered pixel dungeon
