    My Instagram account got hacked and all the account recovery methods failed. I no longer use Instagram.

    @arstechnica@mastodon.social I have exactly the same issue with my Instagram account - they’re sending this verification code to an old email address, that I don’t have access to anymore. Their help documentation is pretty useless in this regard, and their support team goes around in circles 🙄
