Yep, this is me. I’m currently using an old Nobara kernel… Because the latest kernel install (w/dependencies) completely fucked up everything and I honestly cba wasting any more time troubleshooting (tldr Wayland is NOT ready for production).
Just waiting till the motivation hits so I can do a complete rebuild. Mint is at the top of my list—it just works.
Edit: should add, one good thing Nobara does is that it keeps previous kernels installed, so that if they fuck things up (and they do), you can just select a previous kernel when booting.

This isn’t the Oxford comma where genuine misunderstandings are unlikely—using quotes incorrectly is dishonest. It isn’t pedantry to look at a quote and take it to be a direct attribution.

It isn’t just text books where quotes are used. People understand quotation marks to mean they are direct quotes. Using them incorrectly in this manner is dishonest. The person OP is complaining about is clearly a douche, but given the context, Valve is not (quite) as bad as they imply by refusing to remove the review.

Word is really shit for paragraph spacing, particularly when it comes to text surrounding tables. Instead of manually adding paragraph spacing, people just hit Enter twice.
In Markdown this is fine, as it is smart and properly understands and renders this as paragraph spacing, but in Word, it adds a new line with an empty space. I understand this is not the user’s fault, but just Microsoft being shitty and dumb, but still…

I could create a quadrillion JSON files using Python if I was aiming for quantity alone. For context, I was creating character profiles for video game characters that were derived from the public wikis. Good luck creating a Python code to read through an NPC’s wiki entry (and related entries) and then generating their personality, background, significant events, and relationships into a logical JSON file with ‘a few dozen lines of Python’.
Just make sure to stand guard at the front of your home all night every night with your shotgun so that anyone considering breaking and entering knows that you have a shotgun.
