i’m in a similar situation. upgraded from my prusa mini+ to a centauri carbon and want to get into the nylon world. i’ve been looking at the sunlu e2 but it’s hard to justify a filament dryer that costs that much when there’s things like this for only 62 schmeckles.
i’d recommend trying an OEM mag just to see if that makes a difference.
what mags are you using?
“my glock not glockin’, how fix?”

what metadata is even included in a pdf? time to start setting those metadata dates and times to 8:46am on 9/11/01 ;)

nice, i ended up filing a few earlier with only slaps and thumbs, scanned in at 600 dpi, and ran through EFTSuite, so hopefully we’re all good with that configuration.

and this one would be compliant? do i need the rolled ones or just the slap ones?

deeznutstactical and grey market research are the two that come to my mind but there are some other manufacturers out there that sell them.

my nearest printscan location is like 2 hours away unfortunately…

to me, it sounds like this is using the old system as well. only the slap prints, no rolled prints which would result in a denial.

well fuck, wish i would have known that before submitting my form 1s… well… time to find another way to get my fingerprints digitized…

set up the docker container for openEFT. do your own .eft file at home. more privacy, free, only takes like 5-10 minutes to set up.

yeah that’s true. less than $200 isn’t too awful. i don’t have a press though unfortunately, just a vise.

right, i’ve been talking to another guy. we’re trying to get something DIY without a press, but it’s seeming like a press might be needed. like you can get away without one and make a usable fci (i assume) but a press would really be the icing on the cake.

personally, i don’t think my jigs are really ideal.
this is what i think would be promising, but they would be laser cut from scs, then you just smash the metal jigs together to bend the rxm flat.

i created them, in fusion 360, by myself.

a thing i’m working on. adding ball detent delay to the ss db alloy.

i believe so but i don’t have the magpul frame to test fit. seems promising though. no stls posted anywhere yet.
i don’t believe so but really don’t know. i personally did the kak selector and printed the jig for the fl eggs one. idk much about the kevcad one.
