It’s pretty interesting to see how people give and interpret ratings in the US vs. Asia for example. In the US it seems like less than a mid-four is a gamble, in Japan you get some great restaurants hanging around at 3.0+. The reviews will say like “Everything was perfect great food, 3 stars”.

It could be a lot of things ranging from state threat actors looking for a toehold into a network or to cost the government time and resources or people doing it for the lulz.

It depends entirely on the bug and moreso the seasoning. I’ve eaten my share of ants and crickets in Mexico and South East Asia and the taste can vary wildly. I recall tasting the seasoning more than any buggy flavor.

On a side note, raw goat blood soup tastes exactly like you think it would… never again.

I saw this while in Mexico and really liked the idea. I was then immediately bummed out when realizing almost everything had that label on it and buying food without excess sugar and salt was a lot trickier.

Makes me think of that awesome moment in Serenity when all those reaver ships pop up out of nowhere and start hammering the Alliance.
