2·3 years agoI can never seem to get Linux to work on Chromebooks. You would think something so cheap would be easy to fuck with but Google acts like Chromebooks are a premium product and closes them down

2·3 years agoAh shieet. I just have jellyfin running with a port open on my router and everyone on here is saying that’s a bad idea and now I’m wanting to redo my whole jellyfin setup
Lemmy itself is just ran by regular people. If one instance begins to moderate in a strange way or begins to allow things it shouldn’t allow. One can simply leave and move on to another instance

1·3 years agoI hope they will begin to focus on Wayland. It’s nice they are adding gestures but they are still stuck to x11. ElementaryOS has gestures on x11 and they are really nice but gnomes Wayland gestures just beat them out of the park.
