I agree, the focus for me is the same, EU product or atleast an non US alternative. And im not jumping over all at once, im testing services and slowly replacing them when I meet one that fits my needs.

But for me the challenge lies in buying products, like groceries or some technical items. Its not always clear if its tied to the us or not, and it takes some time to figure that out.

Ja die en andere heb ik bekeken maar nog geen aansluiting gevonden op wat ik zoek. Maar geen probleem, komt vanzelf goed. Ik pak af en toe een mail provider, ga testen en besluit dan of het genoeg is om door te gaan of niet.

Ik ga niet overstappen om het overstappen, maar kijk wel rond naar Europese (of op zijn minst non US alternatieven) en als die mij bevallen dan stap ik voor dat product over.

Bijv Windows is nu Linux want dat werkt voor mij net zo goed. Onedrive is Synology drive geworden, die had ik toch al. Office gebruikte ik eigenlijk al niet echt, maar die heeft Synology ook. En anders LibreOffice.

Maar bijv mail daar heb ik nog geen alternatief gevonden die aansluit op mijn specifieke usercase. Mocht dat niet gebeuren dan zit ik gewoon nog bij M365.

Zoeken via Ecosia ipv Google gaat ook prima, merk tot dusver geen slechtere zoekresultaten

Bijv Adobe reader vond ik zowiezo al een traag klote programma dus dat is bijv vrij snel Sumatra PDF geworden.

Ik heb TomTom navigatie getest maar die app beviel mij niet, nu test ik HereWeGo. En als het toch niet is wat ik zoek, ga ik gewoon weer terug naar Waze.
