As far as I understand it, never, unless someone makes an API proxy. They both use activitypub for federation but the client side API is totally different.

ErgoMechKeyboards@lemmy.world•My current daily driver: KLOR with KS-27 browns
3·3 years agoHaven’t tried the KS-33 browns yet. I have some of the aloe and wisteria switches but no board to put them in yet (this one is soldered). The KS-27 browns are good but not amazing. I think they’d be better lubed, and I might even prefer a slightly lighter spring.
The closest thing I have to compare with is Choc Sunsets, which I thought were underwhelming out of the box, but are awesome with a 35g spring swap and lube. Considering the price though, the Gateron switches are a great value. I’d love to see more boards supporting them.

ErgoMechKeyboards@lemmy.world•My current daily driver: KLOR with KS-27 browns
2·3 years agoI have a few keyboards I use regularly but this is my current favorite. KLOR by GEIST, KS-27 version and case by Sadek Baroudi. The keycaps are my own design and printed in resin on my Photon Mono 4k. More info about the keycap profile soon 😉
Trackball is an Elecom Deft Pro, with the bearings replaced with ZrO2 bearings (easy mod, took 10 minutes and cost less than $10). The size and shape is perfect for my hands, it has lots of buttons, and the battery lasts for months. I wish it had a scroll ring instead of or in addition to the scroll wheel, but aside from that it’s near perfect.
Not a fan, mainly because it’s proprietary. Canonical hosts the only repository and you can’t change it. The file system stuff is secondary.
I do think Flatpak is alright, and I use a few Flatpak apps, but since I use Arch, I generally prefer to install things from the AUR.
