Head Shota In Charge of Shota Services & lover of Massive Mommy Milkers.
Genuine cripple who can’t eat food. Deemed “Ableist” by the masses.
Will associate with anyone, even if I disagree with their opinions. If they give me respect, I will give them respect.

Only place I know of is https://vimm.net
Alright, we’ll be defederating with them again. We’ll refederate once it’s clear they have things under control.
Thanks for this, they’ve been refederated on our end.
They seem to have changed what happens a couple times.
I’ll refederate them once they make an announcement post or once their sidebar changes from this:

Maybe they already have. 🤔

I actively avoid services which require phone verification; however, there are services which allow you to fake it, like crypton.sh which is a paid service where you can buy phone numbers (both anonymously with cryptocurrency and with credit/debit card). I’ve used it in the past, when phone numbers are unavoidable and for one reason or another I have to use the software. Haven’t had to use it in many years though.
Especially if the rumors about them hosting “non-consensual content such as celebrity leaks” is true.

I think the subs permanently blacking out are the ones with the most impact. Having 24/48/72 hour blackout just says “we’ll be back soon!”, and in the end, is pretty meaningless. Shutting down legitimately and moving (taking some of your user base with you) is the only thing that will have any real impact.
Reddit is bound to just replace the mods of certain subreddits and reopen them. So the only real reason to do any damage is to move and take some users with you.
A lot of seedboxes are hosted in The Netherlands, from my understanding, its kind of an unenforced law, or selectively enforced.
As for how we can get away with it, it’s kind of simple and also cool. Our VPS host Privex is super chill, and we are signed up with them anonymously. Let’s say The Netherlands demanded Privex shut us down right away. Privex (who is based in Belize, which has no MLATs or other agreements with The Netherlands) would contact us and say “Hey, we gotta get you off this location, what do you want to do?” We would then easily hop ship to another location on Privex. We’ve actually been wanting to move to a Sweden VPS (who’s datacenter is also extremely chill) to have a little more freedom in that way.
But basically, we can do it because in a worst case scenario we’d just pop back up again. Whether that be on a different VPS, different location or even different host, and we’d be back in business within a few hours (probably significantly less)
Hope this could answer your question.
I understand you feel insistent about this, but please understand we will not be changing our wording.
That’s fine, but do keep in mind that it’s in our rules that when interacting on other instances, you follow the rules of those instances.
Sorry, I have to disagree with you. The loli/shota/cub policy only helps us and has been the reason if not a reason, why people have signed up. It doesn’t just say “we allow freedom of expression” but it says “and this is how far we go.” Loli/Shota/Cub are artistic expression, forms of expression often blocked on many if not most platforms. We will not be changing our policy, stance, or visibility of said stance/policy.
You do realize all the loli/shota/cub stuff are in communities, right? Like it’s up to the individual communities on whether they want to allow it or not. We even have a few communities who don’t allow it. They’re also all NSFW communities which can be easily filtered out on a per-user basis, all posts marked as NSFW (also easy to filter out.)
We’re not a “Free Speech” instance and never claimed to be. We explain that pretty in-depth here: https://burggit.moe/post/5280 It’s a pinned post which is SFW and was available for viewing before you signed up.
NSFL content would also only worsen the defederation issue, if that’s something you genuinely care about.
Sorry, we’re not going to change our policies, not for you, not for other instances and for no other reason so long as we can help it. Genuinely wouldn’t care if every instance defederated with us tomorrow, we won’t bend.
What was illusion? This is the first time i’m hearing of it. I assume some sort of piracy site.
