+1 for the woks of life
I’ll have to check out the rest of your recommendations :)
Sounds like you are set then :)
Apologies for the substack, they have a yt channel under the same name if you prefer that source.

You’ll have a hard time sourcing some of these ingredients if you don’t live near an international market (in the US, at least). I’ve had okay luck using Weee! for most of the herbs in this recipe.
Thank you for the content
I’m a current MT resident, planning to leave because I can’t afford it anymore and I keep having to travel out of state for specialty medical care. And honestly, the number of times people have used slurs around me is too damn high
Not disputing that Montana is full of meth, but this happened in Minnesota
Having a strong preference for safe food even at fancy restaurants sounds neurodivergent

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Question for those who didn't learn cursive
4·8 days agoHe said that if anyone audited they’d need to be able to read my name in the signature. I still trusted him at that point so I didn’t have much reason to question it lol
He sure did. He also famously made commercials urging evangelicals to vote against Obama because he was going to bring socialism and take away freedom. Lol

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Question for those who didn't learn cursive
14·9 days agoWhen I bought my first car, my dad (who owned the dealership lol) shredded the paperwork that I signed in cursive, and made me re-write in block letters. It’s the only car or other big-expense/important thing that I didn’t sign for with my usual signature.
My other confusing problem with that transaction was I wasn’t allowed to buy the kind of vehicle I wanted. Yes, I was already an adult living on my own by then, but I figured he knew best. (he did not)

Ask@piefed.social•What are some of your favorite chocolates?English
4·9 days agoThis reminded me that I’ve been wanting to make biscotti to have with tea.
I prefer my chocolate bitter, so I’ll often get the unsweet baking bars to melt then stir in crispy rice (and orange zest if I’m feeling fancy). I did just get some dried Bing cherries, so I might try chopping them and adding to my next bar
I don’t know the song but YouTube shows it was posted 8 months ago. This comic was originally published decades ago

27·10 days agoThe grandfather as well, according to their cousin. The family is creepy as heck, but even more so when you realize just how many children these pedophiles had access to within their own family

I still quote this song often. It’s probably a good thing I never had kids, they’d be so embarrassed of me haha
