Spent the last two weeks taking care of my dying grandfather. Now after he’s gone we were hoping to get back home but we’re flying frontier and they canceled our flight. Now what would be a four hour flight one way has turned into a layover that’s 13 hours on top of that. And no one can help us out so we’re hoping we won’t get stuck in vegas. It’s been a rough time.

Is this something you can come back from?

I went to check it out recently and I don’t recognize it anymore. Spending some time away was good for me. 11 years and it’s gone.

I remember seeing this and was shocked. The Year of Hibernation will always be a nostalgic favorite of mine but I’m excited to see a comeback.

I’d say right now A Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce. I love how most of the dialogue is internal and seems to shift from scene to scene very dreamlike. Other than that I just go back to reading some Greek myths.
