1·23 days agoSeason 5 of The Expanse. I watched the first few seasons years ago when it was on Netflix and stopped when it switched to prime. Acquired a means to watch the later seasons without paying for amazon prime recently, so finally finishing it.

There might be a valid argument somewhere in there that constantly changing the trade policy is worse than keeping a bad one in place? Not sure the trade-off there though. If you know you have a certain tariff in place long term, you can work around that and the tariff can actually do the things it is intended to do. If the tariff changes on a whim, you can’t and the country just becomes a more risky proposition to do business with.

Met my step sibling’s fiance’s mother over the holidays. She not only willingly (and proudly) calls herself a “trumper” but she thinks she knows Nancy Pelosi, Elon Musk, and other political figures personally via twitter. So yeah…
It is very much intentional in a lot of places to keep the status quo.

37·1 month agoThe center should actually sue the administration for changing their name and causing a loss in revenue.
This has happened to me when on a small instance from which no one has viewed a community before. Once the insurance has loaded the community at least once, stuff should appear.
I see that as requiring an instruction of replacement, like buy a dozen instead.
Thing with this joke that his me wrong is that isn’t how if statements are written. The else does not come before the condition in any language I’ve ever used or seen.
At the very least. It should be that he comes back with 1 or 13 loaves.
