I mean, he just needed to look at Vettel’s broken spirit after spending some years at Scuderia. Let’s face it: there won’t be an eighth title for him and not with Ferrari for a long time.

I watched a documentary on Arte a few months ago, since I never really knew much about Allende and the circumstances of the coup d’état.
Two aspects I found personally interesting:
A reactionary and conservative opposition — backed by powerful elites and foreign influence — was blocking all progress and reforms initiated by the democratically elected Allende government.
Allende’s response to the sabotage and obstruction by the conservative and right-wing opposition was to continue seeking dialogue, uphold the constitution, and try to avoid a constitutional crisis at all costs.
A lot of similarities and parallels can be seen today in how conservative and right-wing parties operate — using the same playbook we saw back then in Chile. A strategy all too familiar, and somehow still (and once again) disturbingly effective.

Let Tesla fail and Musk too. You don’t want to save Tesla as long as the fascist Musk profits from it. Let all his companies fail.

Stroll my man never disappoints 😂

The last one was just a grifter move to funnel more cash to his billionaire buddies.
This time, it’s more strategic — the goal is to weaken China. The alliance between Russia, Iran, and China is built on a shared opposition to the U.S. and Western democracy. But Trump’s return throws a wrench into that dynamic.
Putin sees an opportunity: Isolate and economically hurt China, and improve Russias own leverage on the global stage — all while using Trump as a tool once again.

Nice community financed radio channels. Highly recommend. They still need $12k to keep operation going this month, please support if you can :)

We had our own: Wirecard. But who knew it was tied to shady dealings and connected to Putin? Certainly not the EY auditors /s

While Merz’s move might not have any immediate impact on the polls - since the CDU is currently leading - it will soon create a much bigger problem: no party across the democratic spectrum will be willing to form a coalition with him.
He may win over some radicals and see a temporary boost (or no negative impact) in the polls, which will likely lead him to believe he’s on the right track. But in the long run, he’s undermining his own trustworthiness.
Imagine being in a coalition with him, and then he starts pushing radical policies that have no support from his partners or the democratic parties. He’ll likely work with the far righters of AfD.
That’s a person you simply can’t trust or work with. The CDU may still win the election, but Merz has effectively destroyed his chances of becoming Chancellor.
His only remaining path to power would be through a power-hungry, partisan approach that prioritizes politics over the country’s well-being and democracy - ultimately paving the way for working with the AfD, which would be disastrous for Germany’s democratic foundations.
At this point, he became Germany’s version of Trump.

Musk has been in regular contact with Putin over the past couple of years. Its fair to say he serves as a “useful idiot” for Putin, much like Trump.

The EU has strict content moderation laws that Twitter currently violates, which Elon explicitly ignores. The EU could take actions based on the same principles that Brazil did.

Privatization means getting rid of Obamacare/ACA. Trump and GOP see that as socialised health care and have “concepts” to replace them.

Repeating the problem wont make it go away either.
Yet here we are after Trump’s awful first presidency and after he tried to overthrow the government. It’s all because we are giving him more attention than he deserves.

We should stop posting about Trump and his group of extraordinary morons.
The news cycle thrives on Trump, as every decision he makes manages to anger half the population, while the other half cheers him on simply to annoy liberals and progressives. This dynamic generates more clicks and ad revenue for news outlets, allowing Trump to continue making foolish decisions just to remain in the spotlight.
The only way to change this is to stop giving him space in the news.

There should be a petition to vote for banning Twitter in the EU. It’s time we take a step against US Oligarchs and their election interference

For all of their managers, right? Right?

Come on, people here need to read the article and not just headlines:
“I don’t know what exactly happened, because if we knew, we would have helped him. But the speed and, above all, this late braking, and then he goes left or right… in these last few years he tried but it was no longer there, the killer instinct was gone.”
And further
“[The timing] was related to a variety of factors and obligations,” he explained. “He was informed, and the worthy farewell performance was, I think, the fastest lap.”
“That still showed what potential he has, not continuously and not at the level that would have justified him coming to Red Bull Racing, but that was an impeccable performance.”

Und trotzdem sinkt weder der Zuspruch noch die Wahlergebnisse in der Bevölkerung. Faschismus is back.

A very difficult interview considering that it’s pretty clear what will be happening but not official announced. Sad to see him go like this.
The second Red Bull seat is cursed.
