I think these were mostly replaced by art books due to the info from guide books now being on the internet. I collect a lot of art books from games I like, though not every game puts one out.

I’ve been working on an epistolary horror novel told in the form of letters. I was worried about it at first but It’s been pretty fun and interesting to use this format!
I think these might just be three strand braids put together in a way to replicate a knit. Knitting fondant sounds like an awful time!
It really doesn’t help that over the last few years I’ve been getting all sorts of ebooks on sale thinking I’ll get to them eventually, they’re on sale so it’s not so bad, it’s fine… hundreds of books later.
Ebook for fiction books. The convenience is amazing and i don’t have enough space for all the books as physical copies in my place. Plus generally much cheaper to buy.
I do however buy some non-fiction books (ex. books on writing/editing/crafting techniques/etc.) as physical copies as I reference them more often and searching is much easier in physical format.
That looks like scale to me. Using isopropyl alcohol and then wiping them off should usually take care of them. You just have to thoroughly search as they can also be hiding in the roots.

The Beauty by Aliya Whiteley is suppose to be about a society where all the women died some time ago and the last generation of men are trying to survive and cope with that. I have not read it yet though so I am not sure if they include any trans characters and their fates, but maybe it will interest you.
If you have a spray bottle you can mix water and a bit of soap and spray down the flowers to knock them off. It also makes a slippery surface so they should have a hard time getting back on. Though tomatoes don’t usually like water on the stalks or leaves too much so be careful and try to target the affected areas only.

Definitely already looking better! Plants are super resilient!
I also recently got a half dead orchid at a plant swap that I am nursing back to health. It has one leaf left and one baby one coming in. Had to cut off so many bad roots but it looks like it’s bouncing back.

Beautiful collection! I love calatheas and have a bunch as well. The semi hydro setup is also smart since they do love their moisture.
The unfortunate part about having them though is that spider mites loooove them too and it’s a battle getting them under control sometimes.
You can do something like this cable washcloth! There are a bunch of similar patterns of various cable sizes.
That’s adorable! You did a great job with it and especially impressive this is one of your first projects!

Yeah my Pilea constantly did this and other more wacky curling. I moved it further away from the sun so it got indirect light and it liked that better.

As an alternative Kobo offers price matching and carries almost all of the same books minus some indie exclusives (which is a huge shame, there are some good indie book series I guess I won’t be finishing)

Mods can be an option but some are harder than others to use. I do find that a lot of mainstream games have a pretty good range of difficulties these days (including story mode etc), but definitely not all games.
This sounded great until the part where you can only read the ebooks using their app and you can’t transfer to kobo/kindle. That is a dealbreaker for me unfortunately.
They look like a sort of mealy bug to me. Spray isopropyl alcohol on them and if they turn red then definitely mealy bugs.
Get a cotton swab, spray it all down with alcohol and wipe them away and that should clear them up! Luckily they are pretty large and easy to see (at least more than other pests).

Honestly it was really handy to have a pen and paper around for Elden Ring for me. There was just so much I wanted to keep track of so that I could come back or to make connections. But it’s also a very acquired taste kind of game to go through!

It’s been over a year now since I’ve read it, so I don’t remember a lot of the details, but I did quite like it overall. There were some parts that I thought were a bit overdone, I think it’s always a fine line with horror and people have different thresholds as well, but overall I enjoyed the weird creepy things that kept piling up by the end.
I am on book 5 of Cradle series by Will Wight. They’ve been super fun and fast paced, like little popcorn books.
The writing is serviceable, the characters are not super deep, but the world and exploration and discovery have been great. I didn’t think I would like the series but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and I think it’s definitely a good read between more difficult books because it’s a breeze getting through them.
