It also works on all sites, which is why FF is no longer my daily driver.

Is it just me, or is that pic creepy AF?

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Thanks, I hate it! (image description inside)
5·2 years agoI think you’re going to begin to see a lot of that on Reddit. I overwrote and delete my ~10 years of comments and posts before deleting my account. I imagine a significant number of others have/will too.

Technology@lemmy.world•Some Redditors say they're walking away after Apollo app shuts down
1·2 years agoI’m not sure if you’re old enough to remember Digg, but they also alienated their users which caused users to migrate to Reddit.

Technology@lemmy.world•Some Redditors say they're walking away after Apollo app shuts down
13·2 years agoI deleted my Reddit account right after I noticed Apollo stopped working. Mastodon and Kbin are filling the void nicely and I find I don’t miss Reddit at all.

Moving to: m/AskMbin!@kbin.social•Is there any one else who feels like their life has been disrupted by this whole debacle with Reddit.
2·2 years agoAt first I did feel that way. But as my engagement with reddit went down it felt like my life improved.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Did Karma really matter that much in Reddit?
9·2 years agoSome subreddits require a certain level of karma to be able to post or reply to comments. I don’t know if that was to help against bots or people who would make an account to avoid a ban or something. Other than that karma was just an ego boost for those who cared about such things.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Reddit seems to be speedrunning 'self-destruct and devalue IPO'. What would be Reddit's next worst steps?
1·2 years agoGetting rid of old reddit is a given at this point.
And since u/spez is following the Elon business model, I would imagine locking content behind a paywall is next.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Apollo seems to have been shut down
2·2 years agoIt stopped about 2200 US eastern time for me…at least that’s when I noticed it. I uninstalled and then deleted my Reddit account. I’m all in on the fediverse!

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Fuck Reddit u̶p̶v̶o̶t̶e̶ boost party!
5·2 years agoThere’s definitely room for improvement, but I like what I see so far and don’t have a problem learning a new paradigm. I’m sure that as the platform matures things will become more consistent.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Well, it happened a bit earlier than I expected but I'm officially here now. Hello friends 👋
1·2 years agoMost of us are new here. It’s like the great Digg migration years back!
Learning a new platform is fun, and I can’t wait to see this take off as Reddit becomes a shell of it’s former self.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•Welp, I just deleted my 12 year old, 240k+ karma Reddit account
2·2 years agoI just deleted all three of my Reddit accounts. I hope a lot of others do the same!
It’s just beginning!

3·2 years ago@akai
Same here. Once Apollo stopped working, I deleted my 5 year, 14k karma account. Fuck Reddit and fuck u/spez.
