In the past I used CAD 95% of the time in the form of Solidworks, so I had to use windows. The other 5% of the time I used excel, so i probably could have dual booted, but I never bothered. Fortunately (kinda) my current job uses it a lot less, so I main Linux and for small prototypes I use FreeCAD on Linux and dual boot windows for the bigger projects that demand the speed in Solidworks
It’s far from perfect, but it’s really digestible (for me at least) but starting with Wikipedia articles on socialism, marxism, communism, and go on a few of the standard wiki link rabbit trails. Once you get a good understanding of the overviews you’ll likely come up with some questions that drive more learning sessions. At some point it’s worth reading the original theories, but I would save that for much later personally
If you’re concerned about losing focus per “session”, I would take it in small doses. Start with the big picture ideas first, then narrow the scope each time you study to add more and more understanding and nuance.
If you’re concerned about losing focus long term akin to losing interest in the topic, I’m not sure I can help much other than read the news and watch interviews and discussions and debates around the topic and focus the inevitable anger that arises from everyone misunderstanding the topic into learning it so you can push back against the “socialism is when government does things” drivel

That’s true. I’m not l just annoyed that I’ve been hearing that “its so close to making everything better” for a decade it feels like.
My state requires ID (I’m unsure if there’s a max you can give without it, but I brought like $50 and needed ID) and they’re also required to mail a check instead of giving cash on the spot. I imagine that helps deter some people from trying to get a quick payday.
It’s possible to have inset mechanical handles too (they exist on some older cara), but mechanical stuff is more time consuming to design
Yeah, it’s already one of the faster skills, so I imagine new stuff will be faster to train, though it’s been nerfed before for a reason. I honestly would want them to cut rates pre 99, and make current 99 speeds something at like 105-110. Exp at 120 doesn’t need to be 2m+ per hour lol

Yeah I think that’s part of it too. I mostly played with whatever cards I got in packs or traded for, and no one really had a meta deck. So switching from that to a specifically built deck was pretty big, even back in the day. I imagine that’s worse now lol
I played yugioh until about 2005, stopped because all my friends stopped. I got the itch to play again in like 2021 and a newer buddy tried my show me how to play and walked me through a few games. All I could think to say was WTF, it was actually insane to comboa that seemed standard
That’s a fair point, I didn’t see what supports it or not. I guess I like the idea of it more than anything. I guess I have more research to do!
I also have a pretty small desk, and I use a desk mount monitor arm. It’s got two arms holding 2x 27" 1440p monitors, which works great. I usually have papers or even another laptop on front of the screens.
Though I recent started to contemplate switching to a 4k ultra wide, since I don’t play any competitive games realy, and the single wide monitor seems like it would be sweet for the single player games I do play.
