Now someone’s gotta combine the two and make GNU/Linux without GNU or Linux

This has been my exact issue with native Linux music players ever since I switched to Linux like a year and a half ago. I’ve been using MusicBee via Wine pretty successfully but not without some (mostly minor) bugs. No FOSS devs seemed to anticipate my niche use case of needing my Weasel Walter / Mary Halvorson / Peter Evans albums, my Weasel Walter / Mary Halvorson album, and my Weasel Walter / Peter Evans album to all sort into Weasel Walter’s discography while simultaneously the first two sort into Mary Halvorson’s discography and the first and third sort into Peter Evans’ discography, nor did they anticipate my need to tag an album as both Free Improvisation and Harsh Noise rather than sorting it into a separate third “Free Improvisation; Harsh Noise” category lol.

Lyrics? There are none, as that’s purely instrumental. Onomatopoeia? Assuming it’s a pure sine wave, probably just an “ooooooo” without any glottal plosive at the beginning. A pure sine wave wouldn’t be a “woooo”, that would be a sine wave with some kind of envelope filter or something at the beginning of it. It wouldn’t be “ooooOOOOOooooo” unless there’s an increase in amplitude in the middle or like, another additional sine wave of a slightly different frequency than the first and going in and out of phase with it or something along those lines. An “iiiiiiiiiii” sung in a head voice might be appropriate if the sine wave is really high in pitch.

If I read OP correctly, they plan to livestream games. Screen capture isn’t as smooth of an experience on Wayland as it is on X11. Which isn’t to say one can’t do screen capture on Wayland, but that it might be a point of frustration for a Linux newbie trying to stream or record their gameplay.

Yeah, in your Firefox settings. Click the menu with the 3 horizontal lines in the top right corner, click “More Tools”, and then click on “Customize Toolbar…”. On the bottom left corner there should be a checkbox that says “Title Bar”. Uncheck that and then click “Done” in the bottom right.

I uh, might have seen this post back during the pandemic and bought this fit with my stimulus money (it doesn’t look as cute as the picture makes it out to be cause the skirt of the dress doesn’t flare out like that and looks rather boxy, however the top is separate from the dress and you can wear it as a crop top and pair it with another dress/skirt and it looks better that way imo)
