this is where ngl, the opensource community doesn’t win. I prefer Ableton hands down.

- The ancient Greeks are by no means someone to look for in terms of democracy. Aristotle believed slaves were naturally less human and needed masters, and they didn’t let women, or those who didn’t own land vote.
- But its about working with the system we have. We can always advocate for the system being not broken, but intentionally taking advantage of minorities and increasing wealth for the rich whilst doing the opposite for the poor. - Even though I agree that any democracy in the west isn’t truly democratic, with outright bribery in the form of lobbyist, and a two party duopoly. Even though I acknowledge this, everyone must vote for the less bad party, whilst also spreading the word for what they would truly want. - Even if the system is inevitably going downhill, slowing it down and pushing every means, through voting for the less evil option, and protesting, spreading word about socialism is the best option.

1·2 days ago 1·2 days ago- But GrayJay has both desktop and mobile versions, and a sync option, which means my subscriptions stay connected. Additionally Freetube has been broken on MacOS for weeks, and I tested with another Macbook, because it works perfectly fine on linux. - I even prefer Newpipe, other than the sync options, but without syncing I feel I will inevitably go back to grayjay on desktop as well. - If anyone knows how I can sync between Newpipe and Freetube that would be all I need to switch over.
- mm. You know some old ass white American politicians sometimes come out with banger quotes.
- Have I been interacting with a bunch of anarcho-communist middle aged Canadians this whole time? this makes sense lmao.

And if the big companies roll out, surely that just allows for Mum and Pop businesses to bear the load. - Either way its genuinely terrifying that livelihood is so bad that people vote for those who say increase tax to the rich, and yet they are threatened by the rich, that if this guy gets voted in they will make the poor pay, even though it wont work.

1·4 days ago 1·4 days ago- I back FindMyDevice. Simple setup, just give it permission (The necessary stuff works is easy to give permission on GrapheneOS) And give phone numbers for it to allow. I personally don’t have a second phone so I just put in my family’s phone number. and as simple as them texting “FMD Ring” and my phone started ringing. Same with “FMD Locate” Which gave a general (But not perfect) location. Very good app, only wish there was a UI on the other phones end.

- I wish they highlighted the most important contradictions, ngl I don’t care about contradictions about some old guys number of sons, some Christians admit the bible is a source, like all historical source, and the authors make some mistakes. But for example Alex O’Connor talks about how the contradiction in the gospels of whether or not Jesus went to Egypt or to a temple or something, which fulfills some Messiah prophecy, indicating Luke (Or whichever Gospel author wrote it) was intentionally lying to make Jesus seem more like the Messiah. Also an explanation of why each contradiction matters. This seems more like a boring gotcha than something to learn about.
- Not much of a conspiracy theorist guy, but: JFK was killed by the CIA, MLK and Malcolm X were partially killed by the US government at least, Jeffery Epstein was killed by DJ Trump, during his presidency, and was also an Israel asset, October 7 and 9/11 could be (partially) inside jobs based on how both countries used these attacks to start massive wars/genocides.

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION. Using real life examples, the ocean definitely has thousands/millions? or human corpses, and maybe some really big, Ancient lakes/Rivers, have ten-hundreds of dead bodies (maybe thousands? if they’re really old) not that I’ve really thought about corpses in bodies of water before, but I feel comfortable after the fact, and would swim in oceans and lakes again, knowing there corpses.
Any body of water where I can see, smell or feel, or have seen smelt or felt a corpse, meaning any corpse I can distinguish as a corpse, to the horizon would be a body of water I could not swim in.
But in this circumstance, it’s a pool, and I know of the corpse in the pool. The pool would be shallow, and the corpse, on the other end of a pool. I could probably swim in a pool, quite uncomfortably, as long as I couldn’t see it when looking around all sides. It would also have to be really shallow, so I could stand up, assuming the corpse drifts over for a quick leaving protocal.
