And what would be so bad if I got you wrong? Do you think that Star Trek fans that enjoy Faith of the Heart and find it to be a good Star Trek theme are not proper Star Trek fans? Because it has to conform to your, and the apparent “majority’s”, elitist view that orchestral intro music is inherently superior, and you think that should you oppose this sentiment, you get branded as a traitor and are evicted from this community or what? What is so bad with liking Faith of the Heart as a Star Trek song??? People have different tastes, and no one on this instance has any authority in the slightest to decide such matters.

I know that this is a lighthearted place, but why do you think so? E-Mail is one of the most democratic and equity promoting forms of communication there is through its decentralisation and open standardisation. It would be the very kind of thing the Federation would want to preserve or introduce itself.

3·3 years agoI am re-watching Picard and are near the end of season 2 now. I’ve found the show to be much better and indeed extremely enjoyable if one binges it. The one episode per week scheme at release when I first watched Picard was really detrimental to such a heavily serialised story, in my opinion. After Picard, I will be re-watching all three seasons of Lower Decks to prepare for the fourth in September.
