I’ve been playing a fair amount of A Gest of Robin Hood lately. I’ve gotten the Sheriff of Nottingham down pretty well, but I keep getting beaten terribly as Robin Hood.
American living in Sweden. #FilmArchivist/ #projectionist. I’m #vegan and interested in #leftist/ #anarchist/ #socialist topics, #DigitalRights/ #privacy/ #security, and #FOSS/ #OpenSource software. Up till now, I’ve primarily been on Mastodon. But I’ve been exploring other corners of the Fediverse.

We’re still working our way through LOTR the Trick Taking Game (almost done with Moria now). Other than that, I’ve played, among other things: Harvest, Molly House (on TTS while I eagerly await my physical copy), Pax Penning (just played a partial game to learn the rules, doing a full play tomorrow night), Flamecraft, and Oath (I’ve been play testing the upcoming expansion). It wasn’t this week, but a recent highlight was attending an online teach and play of Hellraisers, Wehrlegig’s next game designed by Matilda Simonsson.

Lord of the Rings The Trick Taking Game. We finished chapter 9 last night. It definitely lives up to the hype. We’ve been loving it.
I finally got one email on Tuesday saying there’d be another email that night or the next day with instructions. Still haven’t seen anything.
Interesting. I scrolled through the guide and one thing that was unclear is where does the adb.exe file come from?
The only issue I had before adding DB to Streamio was sometimes the streams would lag. Once I got DB on there I never had that problem. But obviously that’s also dependent on other factors like how fast your connection is and how many seeds the torrent have. So you could be just fine without DB. But if you do have issues, I can definitely recommend adding it, especially since it’s so cheap.
I’ve been using Proton Mail and GrapheneOS for some time now. Early in I found an app called You Have Mail that solved the pushnotifications problem for me. I’ve never used Tutanota, so I can’t speak for it at all, but I really like Proton.
Oh that’s cool! I’ll have to check that out! Thanks!
Wait, how does that work? I’ve always added them manually.

If you’re willing to give Docker a shot (I’d never used it before either), this is what I used to get started. I’ve tweaked some stuff since then, but I feel like this is a good start for beginners.

I don’t think this is exactly what you’re looking for, but Overseer/Jellyseerr offers notifications through Telegram for requests when they’re made, approved and available.
It’s not a plug-in, but the best I know of is Radarr an indexer for movies, Sonarr an indexer for TV, and Jellyseerr a requester that connects to Radarr and Sonarr.
One of my favorite podcasts did a whole episode about this: https://srslywrong.com/podcast/232-i-hate-mondays/
Correction: I just tried again and viewed the post on Mastodon. The alt text does appear there, so the code does work. Just not when viewed on Friendica. Am I just looking in the wrong places? Or does it just not display natively?
Thanks for the info about BBCode. I didn’t know about this option before. However I can’t figure out how to implement some of it. I was testing out alt text and am pretty sure I was formatting the BBCode properly. Once I created the post, it would display the image but I could never figure out how to view the alt text. Do you know how to implement it?
The only difference I’ve ever noticed between Invidious instances is some allow downloading and others don’t. If you like having the option to download, you could seek one of them out.
Played several games of A Gest of Robin Hood which is fun but quite challenging, especially when playing as Robin Hood. Picked up Imperium: Classics at a discount and played for the first time the other night with Romans vs. Persians. We enjoyed it a lot. It should be fun exploring the other civilizations. In the midst of some async games on BGA that are all new to me: Obsession, Castles of Burgundy, Targi, Sky Crew and River of Gold.
