Well put, thank you.
He/him queer anarchist

Well put, thank you.

It’s not exactly popular to talk about it here in this community, but the satanic temple REALLY sucks as an organization too.

Can’t say I disagree with that logic. Went ahead and edited the post with the full content from the OP.

Lol that’s very definitely not allowed and dangerous.

Yes this seems like more of a LocalSend alternative, but with the added benefit of working over the internet so you don’t have to be on the same network
Buying physical media is actually only buying a limited license to use that media yourself, and ripping the content to digitize/backup is technically against the the terms of that license in many cases. It’s ridiculous and unenforceable, but true.
Very cool! Love the retro futurist mech aesthetic. I’ve seen some high quality zines before, but these are in a different class.

The Israeli tools are, as far as we know at this time, unable to break into a phone running graphene in the “before first unlock” state. Literally just turning your phone off before going through the checkpoint (as long as you’re running GOS) will be enough from a technical standpoint.

I had the same experience. I even decided to build my base up to 75 science/minute after the first rocket launch, but once I hit that and was finding myself just crafting modules to increase productivity/efficiency to do infinite research with no real end in sight, it was all grind and no fun for me.
I could have decided to make a real megabase, push for the highest spm my PC can handle, and optimize to the end of time, but at some point I’d have to return to the real world.
End game is all boring alien culling for more mining expansions just to get diminishing returns on infinite research you don’t really need anyways. I’m not really a fan of the colonial extractivist themes, and that’s pretty much all the game made me feel by the end.
I wouldn’t be against it. Iirc, kittenz changed the banner and logo to their current version maybe a year or two ago after link left the first time. It used to be a crossed out sealion, because we were dealing with sealioning libs so frequently back then lol. I don’t remember what it was before the sealion.
Fascinating! I feel like the Spainish Revolution is such a dense topic that it’s treated as being far off and inaccessible by many people (or rather, maybe just me) today. In reality, 90 years ago is very recent in context of the greater struggle.
I said it deep in the comments of the other thread, but it bears repeating here -
PLEASE do not brigade or harass u/KittenzRulz123 over anything that happened here.
If anyone feels the need to go elsewhere and complain do so respectfully and while following the rules of the community and instance where you’re posting, or just don’t and go touch grass instead.

Excuse me? Ada didn’t remove you as mod of LibertyHub because of any supposed tankie sympathies, she did it because Cassa and I asked her to.
Cassa and I didn’t ask her to remove you as mod becuase of said sympathies either, we had to to prevent you from shutting down the community unilaterally without discussing it with either of us, the other two active mods.
You literally made an announcement post, locked the com, and made a new com with the same name/banner on another instance without saying a word to either of us. How are we supposed to react to that? Need I remind you that despite your insistence to the contrary, LibertyHub was not originally your community. Just because LinkOpensChest.wav stepped down doesn’t give you unilateral control over it, at least as long as Cassa and I are still around.
While we’re here, we can discuss the current state of this community a bit if anyone’s interested. I think Cassa hit the nail on the head in the post body, but if anyone wonders what content is welcome here or what the sub is about, I’m happy to field questions.
Kittenz is not wrong that this community has been slow and bordering on completely inactive for at least a year now. LinkOpensChest.wav has posted the majority of the content here since the beginning, and he’s been innactive on Lemmy for a while now. He may never come back, but that doesn’t mean this community has to remain a graveyard.
Personally, almost all of my social internet browsing is done on Lemmy, with this account. That means basically all of the content I find that might be worthy of posting here would be cross posted from other communities that blahaj.zone federates with. I’ve felt for a while that this meant I didn’t have much high quality content to post here, but maybe the sub deserves some content rather than none, and maybe this community can fill a niche not currently filled by other leftist/anarchist communities.
I do follow a handful of blogs/substacks that post content fitting of LibertyHub, but memes have tended to perform better here so I haven’t posted much of them either.
I’m open to input about what content would be appreciated by the folks here.
@ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone can you please help us remove kittenzrulez and their alts as moderator of this community? There’s been a pretty clear case of attempted hijacking here.
however I have determined that being on this instance will cause more issues over time.
Hey Kittenz, I wonder of you can elaborate on exactly what you meant by this?
None of that gives you any right to unilaterally decide where this community belongs. Need I remind you that this community has seen it’s share of drama caused by you and your rash decisions in the past?
This is the old LibertyHub community lol
I’ve seen people use rolled foam like this rolled around the inner edge of their frame-less backpacks for a little support. They take up very little room this way, because it’s just the thickness of the foam x however many wraps it makes around the inside of the pack. The “inside” space is used storing the rest of your gear, the added support is nice on your back, and it also protects the thinner fabric of the pack from anything sharp inside.
