This looks great. We used to spend hours working through the multiplayer challenges. I didn’t know this was in the works. Definitely checking it out later.

Yoku’s is my favorite pinball platformer metroidvania. I don’t hear about many other people playing it.

GW2 works surprisingly well on controller. I’ve been playing that way since launch, first with Xpadder and now with the Steam controller mappings. Inventory management and crafting are the only regular things I switch back to mouse and keyboard for.

If they were able to remove viewbots without impacting real viewers, shouldn’t viewship have remained mostly the same and it’s just that the stats are now more accurate?

I recently tried Star Traders: Frontiers and have been enjoying it. It’s a space RPG with turn based combat and a focus on ship management.

Their stock got a bump from acquiring Rare due to the potential of the IP, and now it’ll get another bump from all the savings due to the cancelation. Actually delivering games based on the IP isn’t required.

I really liked Blue Prince and was recommending it pretty heavily. Unfortunately, I eventually got tired of the RNG involved with hunting for clues. I made it pretty far into the late-game puzzles, but doubt I’ll ever properly finish it at this point. The game was definitely fantastic right up until it wasn’t, and then it felt like a chore.

They were hoping for the fancy Chipotle across town.

Wishing them luck. This looks like it could be really good. Sea of Stars set the bar pretty high for Kickstarter turn-based RPGs and it’s always nice to see more options in the category.

I’m curious how the grafting mechanic will play out. I’m hoping it’s more than just stat changes. Looks interesting though. Will have to keep an eye on this one.

I ended up on Inoreader after Google Reader shut down. I’ve never needed more than the free tier and it works pretty well.

Which would you recommend any as the best Pi replacement?

Yeah, Dark Cloud 1 had some issues, but Dark Cloud 2 / Dark Chronicle (depending where you lived) made huge improvements all around. While other pre-2000 game companies have been falling apart or getting caught up in controversy, Level 5 has been quietly cranking out titles that a lot of people don’t even realize they were involved in.

This must be what they’ve been waiting for to give us another Dark Cloud game.

I don’t know about saving money, but around here airlines have been creeping up checked bag fees for years. You used to get one free checked bag but when they started charging for all checked bags people started trying to fit thier entire vacation worth of stuff into carry-on. The bags I see people trying to fit into the overhead now are huge and just barely fit in the compartment on smaller planes. The airlines know what’s up though since they’ll charge for checked bags but then announce repeatedly before the flight that they’re looking for volunteers to check their carry-on to its final destination for free. I actually saw one airline enforce the carry-on sizing device as people were boarding and forced any oversize bags to be checked. A lot of unhappy people that day.

But if you microwave fresh water in a clean cup you’re missing the flavor from the scale and other build-up in an infrequently cleaned kettle.
