3·2 years agoSounds like it’s shifting into a higher gear too quickly, getting stuck in a higher gear, or shifting at the wrong times, an issue with the transmission.
Communities about sports/sports discussion. It’s the only reason I use Reddit right now. But it seems like the people on Lemmy are even more anti sports than redditors, which is quite something to be honest.
3·2 years agoProgramming class at school when I was 15. Basic Delphi/object pascal back then. Was always into technology beforehand, especially tinkering with the first android phones, rooting them and installing custom ROMs

14·2 years agoWhat she said wasn’t even that positive. She said that during her capture she was beaten to the point of not being able to breathe well, but after that she was looked after well and got the same food and water as the fighters/her captors, and even got shampoo.
If a statement like this is enough to infuriate Israel, then that’s pretty telling on their side
1·2 years agoThat’s mainly because you can raise livestock/ruminants on non arable land. But the idea that ranchers should be able to just use any land without proper consideration for the environment is crazy.
3·2 years agoBrave was also made by a guy who got kicked out of Mozilla for being homophobic. The cryptocurrency stuff is brave also a major scam, it’s a crypto that must first be converted into another crypto before it can be converted into real money. How is that a “currency”?
The funniest part is when two instances federate, but the userbases of both instances want to defederate with each other immediately afterwards lol.

The people rule so effectively in the USA that the candidate with less votes has won 1/3 of presidential elections in the 21st century.
How can you be a “democracy” if the candidate with the most votes loses the election? I thought that was the number one rule of democracy, the person with the most votes wins.
A bar of soap with a washcloth, and the cheapest 48-72 hour lasting spray on antiperspirant deodorant. No particular brands here, there’s not much difference between them. If I want to smell nice, I just put a little bit of cologne on as well. I also avoid shower gels and 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner.
