Should stop washing your hands or showering regularly if that’s how you decide whether something is important.

I think they’re both pretty common. Sometimes the work culture is terrible company-wide (a number of places I’ve worked have just felt incredibly disorganized), sometimes it’s just because of your manager (or team). If I was confident it was just my manager, I might try an internal transfer or something first.
Also, loyalty to a company isn’t really rewarded in most countries now. Just look at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. laying off swathes of people every few months.

Don’t watch his content, but my main concern would be that he worked for FUTO (literally moving to Austin to work for them), which is funded by a right-wing billionaire with connections to Curtis Yarvin, and that he’s somewhat active on Kiwi Farms.
I also admittedly find it a bit sus when tech people move to Texas given all the people that go there because of their political views.
That building is incredibly ugly.

I like how one of her first actions is something this idiotic. Truly amazing.

This is a fucking idiotic question. If naturally our bodies heal ourselves without issue and thus “natural immunity” is better than vaccination, then why do so many people die from illness when unvaccinated?
I suppose eradicating smallpox was a mistake. We should have just let 20-30% of those infected die instead of eradicating the disease through “unnatural” vaccines.

“We have a person that’s not at all smart right now”
Trump should really not be throwing stones given that he found a cognitive test difficult.

Most of them time these sort of people think they’re an exception. Or they just hate themselves.

It’s sort of hilarious to me how much shit actually lines up.

Also the SPARTAN program was pretty fucked, so this just looks bad in every way IMO.

It’s frankly mostly “Christians” who get yapped at by some rich “pastor” on TV or in one of those megachurches, and/or just use the religion as a way to justify their existing bigoted beliefs. Evangelicals are basically a plague at this point.

I do think the lower-end chips actually have great battery life, but once you start going for the higher performance ones you unsurprisingly sacrifice battery for power, so the battery life becomes merely “good” instead of “great.”

They have better battery life than most laptops, but it also strongly depends on what configuration you use and what you’re doing. For instance, my M1 Max laptop has never hit its stated battery life and frankly is pretty close to my AMD laptop (when its battery wasn’t half dead). The AMD laptop is admittedly heavier though.
AFAIK they’re about the same as the M4 in terms of battery life. If you look at their marketing, their battery life improvements are based on their Intel and M1 laptops (whose owners they seem to be targeting for upgrades).

From what I’ve heard, there are AMD laptop chips with better multi-core performance, although worse single-core. Other than the spec bump, this is pretty much the same as the M4 laptops.
Basically if you like macOS (and only macOS since Linux will probably take half a decade to show up given the current rate of Asahi Linux support with newer chips) and specifically need more perf for whatever reason (especially for AI), it’s a nice upgrade.

It’s also not clear just from the graph whether this includes incidents in/near the station or if it’s just on the subway itself.

Hopefully this develops to be a real alternative in the future. Unfortunately, it seems to not really have much of the kind of music I tend to listen to atm.

I’m glad about this because I just game on Linux now, and this attitude means they’re less likely to sabotage things to specifically fail through Wine/Proton, but as a business, I imagine this only really works if they have good products that are clearly better than their competition, and they just aren’t.

I would read this if I weren’t arbitrarily blocked for not installing Firefox on Android, but whatever. Wonder what happens if you use iOS lol…
Hard to imagine what I assume is a blog has any actual requirements preventing non-Gecko browsers unless it’s designed incredibly poorly.

Pretty much completely unsurprising given how their govts have acted for the last decade.
You’re talking about surviving without X. Well, we survived without washing our hands, showering, brushing our teeth, etc. for 99% of human existence as well. Better be consistent in your beliefs and return to living as a hunter-gatherer in the woods.
