I don’t know about underrated, but “Beard with Glue” and “Hostiles on the Hill” are definitely among the best.

The Nights Dawn Trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton. Not as a trilogy, though, this would have to be series, maybe three seasons per book.

2·2 years agoI haven’t tried it, but looking at the source, but you should be able to simply clone the repo, run “npm install” and “npm run build” and deploy the output to a webserver.

9·2 years agoI’ve looked at the traffic, and all calls go directly to the API of my instance. I don’t think Alexandrite even runs a backend.

2·2 years agoIt’s not exactly OAuth, but the webapp logs in at the chosen instance via its API and gets issued a JWT it uses for all subsequent requests.

2·3 years agoHomeAssistant has been around almost as long as OpenHAB (2013 vs. 2010), so it’s not exactly “newer”. It’s good that there are several open source options, but I don’t see anything wrong with sticking with what works for you (OpenHAB for me as well, btw).

3·3 years agoThe SDK was pretty awful in 7 and 8, though. Only in WP10 it started to become decent. I was happy when we dropped WP support from our app and focused on Android and iOS (although frankly, iOS is also getting on my nerves with some regularity).
