@krake @kde@floss.social @linuxtage @kde@lemmy.kde.social Wait, the Plasma sprint turned into a conference now? 😜

@rokejulianlockhart Yes it can, pmOS doesn’t use recovery partitions. However, why would you? It’s an Android-specific recovery and really not useful for mobile Linux

@erebion Like I said, make sure Qt6Svg is installed.

@erebion @zachdecook Just installing an icon theme doesn’t break anything. It’ll only be used if it provides an icon that no other icon theme has, so maybe the missing one from Kasts.
Also make sure QtSvg is installed. For #postmarketOS that would be qt6-qtsvg

@be @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social @postmarketOS When I’ve finished the PR upgrading it all. Currently I’m building everything locally and if that’s done I’ll push it to Alpine. Hopefully end of weekend update will be available

@itsoulos @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social It works of course, but it’s interface isn’t mobile friendly at all. Merkuro will be a better fit, it uses the same backend as KMail (Akonadi) anyway.

@mlekar @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social No, Ubuntu Touch isn’t a classic Linux desktop. Check https://plasma-mobile.org/get/
@oleksii By realizing Appimages aren’t portable at all and in fact a bit stupid, and then realizing you should’ve used Flatpak instead.
Honestly, they only work on systems that look like the system they were built on. And those systems do not run Musl libc…
