I haven’t had a problem with them, because it seems easy enough to go over them at around 25 miles per hour. 25 mph is the speed limit and all these neighborhoods. I’m sure there are situations where it becomes very annoying. I’m more curious about what the snow plows are going to do with them.

If the only major argument is that soda is the cheapest and there’s not a cheaper alternative then that further justifies this bill in my opinion. It’s hard to predict the future, but prices and behaviors would have to change if there were no cheap alternatives. Of course there’s no guarantee that unscrupulous healthy beverages wouldn’t go up in price, but that seems unlikely.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in this situation, but biking around Boston is an amazing form of transportation except for two major things: having your bike stolen, and storing it somewhere. Blue bike covers both of those scenarios. I wish they had been around years ago. Of course I don’t know how the prices compared to owning a bike.
