That’s welfare capitalism, or “social democracy” (which a couple hundred years ago was actually a synonym for communism, but nowadays refers to welfare capitalism), aka “the nordic model”, not socialism. What socialism and communism actually are is a longer discussion.

3·1 year agoAt least in my experience, women tend to care about looks just about the exact same amount as men, that is to say some care almost exclusively about looks and some not at all, and everywhere in between, and at about the same rates from what I’ve seen. Anecdotal tho, and the general gist of what you said still applies, I’m just being pedantic lol

7·1 year agoSteam’s Proton (the tool that makes windows games work on linux) works on pretty much all mainstream distros, you can just install a desktop linux distro and intrall steam on it
I think you literally stretch; the part of you that touches the horizon line first experiences infinite gravity, while the parts of you outside the horizon line don’t, so you’re getting stretched out as the parts inside the horizon line fall in much faster
