There is a test on YT. If I recall properly, the strength rises with smaller layers to around 0.15 mm, then start falling. Not significantly difference tho. Personally me printing 0.16 mostly. And 0.20 for non-critical parts.

3·4 months agoThis is a great deal. Just not for 3d printing. Forced convection is better for annealing. Helps to maintain temperature uniformly across all chamber volume. And for drying is better blowing trough the camber.

1·5 months agoWell. My bad. I didn’t think about .22 when answered. The chamber surface of .22 is 3 times smaller than 9mm, so, could work.
Anyways. This just reminds me, were is a “3d printed pipe calculator” https://guncadindex.com/detail/Supressor-Wall-Thickness-Calculator:9. Cans oriented, but could give a rough approximated info for a chambers and barrels.

6·5 months agoWithout chamber liners - no. There was my video on (nuked) Reddit with the SnubbyBuddy blowing the PA-GF cylinder. With just 1.5grains of powder charge (as far I can recall).

5·6 months agoLookin to the TDS, BambuLab PPA-CF beats ST PPA-CF. But it’s hard to compare the values directly, because BambuLab separates the values of Z and XY and SirayaTech not. Anyway it still tough PPA-CF material and ~2x cheaper. I’d probably pull the trigger.

Lab blast oven for drying and annealing. And separate drybox for printing out of it. I’m using Fixdry NT1. Only printed 15mm lid riser for it to fit Polymaker’s 2 / 3 kg spools.
