Partially, the HA is actually an NA, pronounced Nah. In this context means “for” like “for diversion”
Covalent or Ionic?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What’s something you own that has truly paid for itself?
1·2 months agoThat is true, but it’s about the percentages. If you make the trades as they get released to the public, you still make money. It’s within a few percent of what Pelosi is making. I switched to a different one that is reported instantly as far as I know instead of Pelosi’s 14 days average. It’s the Jim Simmons tracker

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What’s something you own that has truly paid for itself?
2·2 months agoI think Jim Simmons is the best performing one they have that’s included with the regular subscription. It’s a new one though I think, I did the Nancy Pelosi one for a year and it was the best performing for that period. And yeah it is kinda sus that it’s a mobile only afaik

7·2 months agoIt’s called Autopilot, I just downloaded it and it synced with my Robinhood account. Costs 100 bucks a year for the automated trading. I’ve been up 40% over the year

politics @lemmy.world•Air traffic controllers who duck unpaid work during the gov't shutdown could be fired, Duffy warns
1·2 months agoThey’re already unionized in federal air traffic facilities. The privately run ones aren’t but they’re still being paid.

What prejudices do you think I have, I just want to know what AGI stands for and what it means with AI and I want someone who isn’t Wikipedia to explain it to me? Is that so much to ask?
Can someone explain to me what AGI means in this context? I thought it was something that Joe Rogan keeps peddling to my parents.
Of course I’ve seen Stalker, phenomenal
Wait until that guy finds out about this movie https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circus_(1936_film)

Photolithography itself was invented in the US a while ago, but the company that perfect the manufacturing process that is used for modern chips is in either Belgium or Denmark iirc. That company just leases its machines to TSMC so it’s entirely possible they could just move the machines to the USA. But that’s my surface level understanding, I don’t know for sure.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK "honey", the discount coupon finding browser extensions (owned by PayPal), is a scam stealing commissions from people who actually should get it.Esperanto
9·1 year agoNo, it’s a little more complicated than that. How a video explained it was, say someone was trying to sell you a TV, you decide to buy that TV and the salesman gives you a card to let the cashier know who the salesman was to get the commission. When you’re at the checkout line, a different sales man comes up and offers to find you a coupon code to help save you money. In the process of looking, regardless of if a coupon code is found, the second salesman takes the original card the previous salesman gives you and switches it with his own unbeknownst to you or the original salesman. Then when you buy the product the second guy gets the commission.
