Thanks for doing the math. That’s really interesting. If we don’t count labor costs, electricity makes up about 40% of the cost of a loaf of bread. However, if you didn’t have a bread maker and just used your oven, it would take much longer to recoup your investment. I love how efficient that machine is.

So post a few pictures of minimum speed limit signs at entrances to municipalities. Everyone else is saying they’ve never seen that (outside of highways). Nobody is saying there isn’t a minimum, just that it’s not commonly posted.
If I have a lot of garlic I’ll do that or one of those silicone tube garlic peelers, but if it’s just a few cloves it’s usually not worth the effort for me.
Bonus points if you leave a tiny bit of the root attached to the skin so that when you pull the root off it starts the peeling process
