LEGO@piefed.social•Back in my day... These gray brick seperators cost us like, $1.99!! Now, they just give them away for free!! SMH
1·4 days agoApparently, they started giving them away sometime in the 2000’s. As a kid, 80’s-90’s, they did not give them away.

4·4 days agoYeah, perhaps in the 2000’s but when I was growing up was in the 80’s-90’s. And the only place I ever saw them was in a magazine for $1.99. But that’s just my experience.

LEGO@piefed.social•Rebuilt one of my favorite childhood sets - Robo-Guardian 6949
2·7 days agoSo, if you want to, you can order the pieces you’re missing from BrickLink.com.
Here’s the link for this set: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=5437#T=I
Make sure you’re looking at the “Set Inventory” tab and scroll down until you find the pieces you need. You can then order them from a vendor. Good luck!
Edit: most of the gears are approximately $. 02 per piece. There’s probably a min so once you’re in their store, look for minifigs!!

They are Lego pieces that come apart in to two separate pieces. Inside there are various minifigs! No idea where they first appeared. Give me a few minutes to try to figure that out.
Yes! And yes!! You have to put a “coin” in and then you can turn the handle and it chunks pretty good!!

2·22 days agoYes please!! Seriously, cutting down one 100-year-old tree can cost you 6 figures. Now, with the historical provenance, you’re looking at 8, maybe 9 figures?!??

Chumbawamba played a protest in DC that I went to (not sure which one, 2002?). They were pretty progressive and just made it big on the radio with that one song.
