Or, y’know, any better browser, a firefox derivative maybe even, or just, a different chromium derivative, that isn’t a slop machine run by a creep. Seriously, why the heck do people keep recommending brave?
5·2 days agoI’ve seen prerendered indie games do this deliberately. I do NOT understand it, at all.
I assume it’s because if you’re holding a mic for hours not only is it more comfortable to not have to lift it all the way up but it also keeps your suit from creasing weirdly and pulling the cuffs unflatteringly.
Oh yeah, THEY couldn’t behave, definitely happened in a total vacuum.

Nono, you’re whitewashing it, the NYT has a history of treating even its own trans staff kinda shittily.
That rule actually goes that you can assume the answer is no, since if the answer was yes they would just have the balls to say that rather than “just ask questions”. This is the exception that proves the rule.

41·9 days agoAs a random person on the streets of the US I have zero desire to be at war with these random people on the streets of Iran, fuck our leaders, fuck this shit.
The consensus when this comes up in most of my trans spaces (this topic comes up semi regularly) is that we just tend to be a lot chattier and that probably accounts for a lot of it.

Yeah the contrapoints video where she talks about when she used to be in places like that makes that pretty clear to me. Most trans spaces online have rules about aggressive self hating and especially against encouraging/reinforcing reasons of others in their self hating. 4chan does not, it is a place to wallow in “cleansing” self hatred.
