Open Source@lemmy.ml•Flood of AI 'garbage' is pushing open-source developers to the limitEnglish
2·11 days agoThe problem is, that FOSS devs get spammed with a 1000 times the same bugs found by the same tools put into a bug report with no human oversight by people who have no clue what they are doing and often dont give an answer on how to solve the problem.
My idea was to use AI to identify the 1000 bug reports about the same issue and make sure that you don’t have to read every single one of them. That way you could sort out the spam and reduce the amount of slop the devs have to deal with.

7·13 days agocould you use AI to evaluate whether the code submissions are actually valuable. Would not work 100% of the time but it might help. I mean we are fucked at this point so you might as well try.
Fighting fire with fire i guess.
Just run it locally and not on a data center. Dont support big tech and help them destroy our planet.
It is truly interesting how AI is mostly a solution to problems it caused in the first place.
where did you read that?
and if they realise that and disable the car until you remove it?
Cars collect data about you to sell them to insurance companies. There was a study by the mozilla foundation about this and they said that there is basicly no modern car that does not do that.
The only thing you can do to avoid them is buy an old car.
buy an old car and convert it. It aint gonna be cheap but probably cheaper than a new EV.

4·16 days agoso we will just have to settle for those chinese Mainboards with old intel server CPUs i guess. At least the DDR3 RAM for those is a bit cheaper.

Technology@lemmy.world•the solution might be cancelling my AI subscriptionEnglish
1·16 days agoThe low life expectancy and the demetia does not come from the ADHD itself but rather from the fact that ADHDers often do not get enough sleep and use both legal and illegal drugs (to which we get adicted easier) to compensate for our ADHD.
Also the world pretty much forces you to adapt into a system you are not compatible with. ADHDers have a delayed sleep rythm and we need on average one hour more sleep than the average human.

I am talking UV portection hoodies, Sunskin, and portable cooling solutions for both your home and to go. And make shure your Grandparents and parents do the same, older people are much more vulnerebal to the heat.

2·20 days agoidk i feel like the discord-ditch is kinda turning into a mess rn. You have people going back to teamspeak, some are using Matrix, some just stay on discord anyway. Some even use the steam integrated thing. I just hope this doenst end up with a scenario where you need like 10 apps to talk to your friends…
Edit: Just checked, fluxer is based on matrix. bruh.
Edit 2: Edit 1 is wrong. Fell Victim to an AI hallucination. Sorry for the misinformation, should have doublechecked.

Joplin runs on both Linux and Windows and can be synced via their own cloud, Nextcloud (selfhosted) and other options that i forgot. Joplin is more focused on markdown notes, but it also has a drawing feature, but i haven’t used it much so i can’t say much about it apart from the fact that it exists. try it out. If it does not work, use Xournal++. That is mainly focused on written notes. However afaik it does not have a note sorting system so you would have to do that in the file explorer.
